Premier launches 16 Days of Activism For No Violence Against Women and Children in Kimberley

NORTHERN CAPE – The Provincial Commissioner of the Northern Cape Lieutenant General Rasimati Shivuri, Deputy Provincial Commissioner Koliswa Otola and other senior members joined the Northern Cape Premier Dr Zamani Saul and his Members of the Executive Council in the launch of 365 Days of Activism For No Violence Against Women and Children in Galeshewe, Kimberley on Monday, 25 November 2019.

The event started with a march and picketing from Pick n Pay circle all the way to Hulana Park, a demonstration to eloquently express the people’s relentless and vehement condemnation of Gender Based Violence.

Under the theme ‘Enough Is Enough: Fast-tracking implementation to end Gender Based Violence’. The occasion further consolidate earlier launch by the Provincial Commissioner and hand over of Safer Festive Season Operation plan.
