Bethlehem: Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Nonceba Mhlauli, is set to participate in a series of land reform and communal property association engagements aimed at accelerating land reform in the Free State.
According to South African Government News Agency, Deputy Minister Mhlauli will join the Minister of Land Reform and Rural Development, Mzwanele Nyhontso, in significant discussions with land reform stakeholders. These engagements are part of the government’s initiatives to enhance land reform, secure tenure, and assist beneficiaries in sustainable land use and rural development.
During the programme at Loft Conference Centre in Bethlehem on Monday, the Ministers will engage with land reform beneficiaries to discuss progress, address challenges, and reaffirm the government’s dedication to restoring land rights. The event will also feature the handover of title deeds to beneficiaries.
On Tuesday, the Ministers will meet with communal property associations (CPAs) to provide a forum for CPAs to share their experiences, challenges, and opportunities in communal land management for community benefit. This session will occur at the Lavender Hill Country Estate in Bethlehem, starting at 9 am.
