Police intensify 16 days of Activism of No Violence Against Women and Children

The South African Police Service in Groblersdal today on 2018-12-05 engaged the community members through awareness campaigns in respect of the 16 Days of Activism of No Violence Against Women and Children.

The Station Communication Officer, Constable Mampa addressed community members about the following topics:

* Gender based Violence.

* Safety hints during the festive season.

* Responsible intake of liquor. (Alcohol abuse.)

Meanwhile in the Watervaal policing area in the Makhado Cluster, Police have also conducted crime awareness campaign in respect of the 16 days of Activism of No Violence Against Women and Children at Bungeni village at the Safe Park Orphanage home where communities were gathered in numbers.

All the relevant stakeholders were in attendance including the Communication Officer who sensitized the public about Domestic violence and the prevention of various categories of crimes.
