Minister Stella Ndabeni Abrahams launches a township based business in Mdantsane
Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams hereby invites members of the media to the launch of Reeston and Jemic Motors in Mdantsane, East London. This is a township-based business that is focused on empowering youth from townships and rural areas.
This launch comes at a particularly significant time for the small business sector, as it recovers from significant challenges that have plagued SMMEs in the past few years. These include COVID-19, the riots and looting in parts of KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng in 2021, as well as the floods that affected parts of KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape in 2022.
It is therefore exciting to be celebrating some good news for the SMME sector.
